Privacy Policy
Short version: your health data never leaves your iPhone and your iCloud. PepCal has no account and doesn't use ads or tracking. The only outside service is RevenueCat, which manages subscriptions (see Purchases).
Where your data lives
- On your iPhone. Protocols, doses, supplies, injection sites, weigh-ins, notes and preferences are stored on your device.
- In your iCloud, if sync is on. PepCal can sync that data across your devices through your own iCloud account, using Apple's CloudKit private database. We can't access it. You can turn sync off in Settings › Privacy.
- Progress photos stay on your iPhone only. They're stored with iOS file protection and never synced.
Apple Health
If you allow it, PepCal reads weight, resting heart rate, heart rate variability and sleep from Apple Health, and saves the weigh-ins you log to Apple Health. Health data is processed on your device. It isn't stored in iCloud, isn't shared with us or anyone else, and isn't used for advertising.
Purchases
Subscriptions are processed by Apple. We use RevenueCat (revenuecat.com) to check your subscription status and to compare paywall designs. RevenueCat receives your purchase history and a random anonymous ID, never your name, health data or doses. We receive no payment details.
Notifications
Dose reminders are scheduled locally on your device. You can hide compound names on the Lock Screen.
Your choices
You can export your data as CSV (Settings › Privacy › Export my data). You can erase everything from this iPhone and iCloud (Settings › Erase all data).
Children
PepCal is for adults 18 and older.
